The manufacturer and exporter of shellac and forest products and its derivatives are eligible to get SHEFEXIL registration cum membership certificate. The e-RCMC is a certificate issued by SHEFEXIL council to the interested applicants. The Objective of issuing an RCMC is to regulate and promote export on shellac and lac-based products from India.
The following documents are required to apply for SHEFEXIL Registration:
1. IEC registration code
2. Proof of business such as incorporation certificate, partnership deed/firm registration certificate
3. Identity Proof of appliant such as aadhar, pan, passport
4. GST registration certificate is also required
5. MSME registration certificate if available
The SHEFEXIL (Shellac & Forest Products Export Promotion Council) membership fee ranges from ₹1,180 to ₹35,400, depending on your export turnover, product type, and regional eligibility.

The registration process can categorised into the following four steps
Step-1: Details & Documentation
Applicants are required to provide all the related documents and basic details during the filing of application on the respective portal.
Step-2: Filing of application
Once all the details and documents are provided the application duly be filed along with all the relevant documents.
Step-3: Submission of fee
The application fee should be submitted along with application form.
Step-4: Issuance of License
Once the application is submitted successfully, authorities will verify all the details and documents only after the verification the e-RCMC (registration cum membership certificate will be issued to the respective applicants.
