    Manufacturer exporters of coir products such as coir ropes, yarns & fibers are given exporters registration separately. It is mandatory for such exporters to have coir board registration as per the registration and licensing rule 1958

    Eligibility for Coir Board Registration

    1. Any person who has rehanked or baled 100 tons of coir yarn in a factory owned or possessed by applicant in a period of 12 months.
    2. MSMEs or any entity having total purchase turnover of 500 tons of coir yarn in the said period is considered for registration.
    3. Any person who has manufactured 150 tons of coir products other than coir rope in a factory owned or possessed in a period of 12 months.
    4. Who has a total purchase turnover of 700 tons of coir products in the said period is considered for registration
    5. Any person or new startups who operate in the Coir industry and can produce a certificate regarding his financial status from a nationalized or scheduled
    bank and a copy of the PAN Card is considered for registration as exporter of coir fiber and coir rope subject to other requirements.

    Applicants are required to comply with certain conditions and requirements in order to maintain coir board RCMC registration. These may include:
