      What is GJEPC registration?

      GJEPC registration (RCMC) is a type of registration issued by the government to all businesses that export or import jewelry in India. The registration is valid for 5 years. Members must pay their annual membership fees on the 30th of April.

      Process of GJEPC RCMC registration

      The registration process can be broken down into the following steps:
      Step 1: Login into GJEPC web portal navigate to the new registration portal, it will automatically redirect yours to RCMC registration portal.
      Step 2: Now, Click on proceed and fill in all the required details in the form such as PAN details, IEC code & other required details.
      Step 3: The candidate will be provided with a username and password upon submitting the RCMC application. Using such details, the applicant should visit the homepage and proceed.
      Step 4: Once the process is completed, the GJEPC RCMC certificate will be issued to the applicant

      Documents required for GJEPC membership

      To apply for GJEPC membership, applicants must submit specific documents based on their exporter category. Below is the detailed list of required documents for both manufacturer and merchant exporters:
      For Manufacturer Exporter
      The documents required for GJEPC membership under the Manufacturer Exporter category are as follows:
      • Duly filled Application Form for Associate Membership, RCMC Application Form, and Challan Form signed by the Proprietor/Partner/Director
      • Signature Slip (online form) signed by the Proprietor/Partner/Director and attested by the applicant’s banker
      • Self-attested copy of Import Export Code (IEC) issued by DGFT
      • Self-attested copy of PAN
      Partnership Deed (in case of Partnership Firm)
      • Memorandum & Articles of Association (in case of a Company)
      • Self-attested copy of MSME (UAN)/SSI/IM Certificate (if applying under the Manufacturer category)
      • Self-attested copy of GST Certificate (Not applicable for Micro Associate Membership)
      • Self-attested copy of personal PAN, Passport, and Aadhaar of the Proprietor/Partner/Director
      For Merchant Exporter
      In addition to the above documents, Merchant Exporters must also submit the following:
      • Chartered Accountant’s Certificate verifying the export turnover or domestic turnover of GJEPC-related products for the last two financial years

      The documents required for GJEPC registration renewal are as follows:

      • Original Registration Certificate “RCMC”
      • Self-attested copy of Import-Export Code (IEC) issued by DGFT
      • Online renewal of membership confirmation
      • Copy of the system-generated renewal newsletter
      • Self-attested partnership deed in case of a Partnership Firm
      • MoA & AoA in case of a company
      • Authenticated copy of SSI, IEM, and MSME Registration Certificate
      • Cover letter

      GJEPC Membership RCMC Registration Fees

      The GJEPC membership RCMC registration is based on the applicant’s annual export performance. The fees vary depending on the export turnover category. Additionally, a one-time admission fee of up to INR 5,000 (inclusive of 18% GST) is applicable at the time of enrollment.
